This biennial exhibition showcased the sixteen finalists' artworks chosen for the 2007 Award. It brought together diverse views of the human experience, ranging from war photography to quiet observations on the streets of Beijing. Following a national call for entries, sixteen finalists were selected by a distinguished panel of judges: Christopher Koller, Head of Photography Studio, School of Art VCA, The University of Melbourn;  Kyla McFarlane, Writer and Assistant Curator of Exhibitions at Monash University Museum of Art; and Kelly Gellatly, Curator, Contemporary Art, National Gallery of Victoria.
