North West Art Circle Annual Exhibition

The Annual North West Art Circle Annual Exhibition represented local artists working predominantly in watercolour and oils. Art works were judged in various categories and awards were presented on the opening night.

Helen Wright is a Hobart based artist who refers to herself as ‘a collector of images and forms’. Motifs such as plaited hair, vessels, corsets and flowers have appeared throughout her work in the past ten years.

The Impossible Flower Series was purchased by the Devonport Regional Gallery in early 2000.
